Terung bakar

Basuh bersih terung.Buang tangkai dia dan toreh memanjang {2~3 inci} setiap terung.Kalau tak toreh,nanti terung akan meletup masa masak.Wap di dalam dia nak keluar.
Wash clean the brinjals.Remove the stalk and make a slit {2~3 in} along each brinjal.If they are not pricked,then the brinjals will burst during grilling.The steam within will try to escape.

Bakar di atas bara sabut kelapa.Bila dibakar sehingga betul2 lembut,terung ni terasa manis. Grilled over embers of coconut husks.If grilled til really softened,these brinjals will taste sweet.

Tasty if taken on its own or with anchovy dip.Cut into smaller pieces which is preferable. Alhamdulillah…..  Enak dimakan begitu saja atau dicicah dengan budu,nak pula budu dicampur kunyit hidup dan cili padi yang ditumbuk lumat dan perahan limau.Hiris terung kecil2,lebih baik. Alhamdulillah…..

 

 

 

Terung-terung ni bersaiz kecil. Boleh dimasak pelbagai seperti memasak terung yang besar. These are mini brinjals. You can come up with many kinds of dishes with this type, like those big ones.
